Today it is the 40th anniversary of the birth of Louise Brown, the first person to be born through assisted reproductive technology ("test-tube child"). It was a real medical breakthrough. And all thanks to two enthusiastic physicians, Patrick Steptoe and Robert Edwards, who fertilized the ova in a Petri dish and then transferred it to the mother's uterus. After this discovery, millions of infertile couples can become parents through IVF.
To date, more than 10 million people have already been born in this way.
World ART (Assisted Reproductive Technologies) Day is now celebrated annually on 25 July. And today Medical Plaza has a double holiday - the Birthday of Zlata - a first child born with IVF in our center.
Congratulations to Zlatochka on her birthday! We wish you to grow up healthy and happy to the joy of your parents!
The whole team of Medical Plaza congratulates the parents, who received their long-awaited child with the help of IVF, on this wonderful holiday. There are already 419 such children in our center.
We help to become happy parents!
